Updating the Rocket is a scary task. How do we improve a board that consistently wins tests? How do we make better a board that is already a perfect balance of speed, acceleration, maneuverability, and control? After lots of testing and much discussion, we decided to bring in some features of the Rocket Wide to the Rocket 125 and 135.

We increased the width in the boards by 3cm to broaden their wind range. We did not change the lengths to keep that easy-to-balance feeling and the smooth transition from non planing to full speed.

The new Rocket 125 and 135 get going fast more easily while still having a high top speed. The added width makes the boards work with bigger sails and lighter winds, plus more stable for jibes.

We also thinned the profile to make the board jibe even easier.
Unchanged is the signature Tabou nose double concave that creates our famous “soft touch” feel as the board cuts through chop.
